Outreach and Collaboration
Outreach at St. Matthew’s flows from our contact with a God who loves all and sends us to a world where Christ is already present and waiting for us. If we discover our new dignity in Christ, as daughters and sons of God, we naturally desire to care for the dignity of all human persons. Our outreach is the chief way that we get to be a part of the Beloved Community that God is creating in and outside the parish and get to be a part of this work in making a new humanity.

Our Community Ministries
We seek out local partnerships to build community in new and surprising ways, as we seek and serve Christ in all people, loving our neighbors as ourselves. Partnerships include Habitat for Humanity, Orange County Schools, Compass Center, and Orange Congregations in Mission, to name a few.

Outreach to the World
We seek out international partnerships that promote peace, relieve suffering, and embody Christ in this world. We support Millennium Development Goals in our annual budget by giving to Episcopal Relief and Development, Church World Services, and Partners in Health. We also support lay led partnerships in Haiti and Armenia.
