Welcoming our New Interns!

St. Matthew’s is most fortunate to have been assigned two interns, both starting in September, 2023.

Day Smith Pritchartt is serving a diocesan internship at St. Matthew's through Epiphany '24. She is in discernment for the vocational diaconate. Day comes to us from the Episcopal Church of the Advocate, where she has been a member since she moved to North Carolina in 2016. She brings ministry experience in Christian formation, evangelism and racial reconciliation. Because deacons serve particularly those in need, she will spend much of her time in our outreach ministries. Day is looking forward to getting to know us and to experiencing how we engage with God and with the world around us.

Katie Bracy returns from her summer internship for an academic year internship at St. Matthew’s, from September 2023-April 2024. Having been blessed by Katie over the summer we could not be more pleased to have her back with us for an entire program year. What a gift!
