Village Church: Día de los Muertos Nov. 5, 9:15 Eucharist

Mark you calendars & join us!

On November 5th our Village Church service will be honoring Día de los Muertos! Join us at 9:15am and read below for more details!

Día de los Muertos is a day celebrated in Mexico and much of Latin America. It is a day to honor our ancestors who have come before us and welcome their spirits to join us as we celebrate them.

We will celebrate by creating an altar and adding photographs of our beloved followed by a brunch in the Parish Hall. You have two very important jobs in preparation of this service:

  1. Bring a photograph or memento of your dear family member or friend.

  2. Prepare one of their favorite foods to bring to brunch!

We hope you’ll join us for this tradition that brings connection, storytelling, and community over something we all experience at some point in our lives, the death of those whom we love dearly.
