Congratulations!! Our sisters and brothers in Christ at Dickerson Chapel AME Church are the recent recipients of a grant from the National Historic Trust for Historic Preservation:
”Congratulations! After careful review, the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund is pleased to award Dickerson Chapel AME Church a grant from Preserving Black Churches totaling $400,000.00. These funds will support Dickerson Chapel Historic Restorations.
Preserving Black Churches grants are highly competitive. After reviewing over 622 funding proposals, we will invest $8.5 million in 30 historic churches nationwide. “
