Chapel of the Cross Workshop Oct 26

“Cultivating Spiritual Sustainability: Growing a Renewable Garden in Our Souls”

Please join us when Bishop Marc Andrus, former Bishop of California, leads a workshop entitled, “Cultivating Spiritual Sustainability: Growing a Renewable Garden in Our Souls” at the Chapel of the Cross (Chapel Hill) on October 26 (9:00 am – 2:30 pm). Bp. Andrus will draw on readings from the Gospel of John to consider how Jesus – the Bread of Life and Heaven – is the food that lasts and gives eternal life. Dr. Sheila Andrus will introduce the carbon tracker SustainIslandHome. Attendees will imagine the ways a commitment to Creation Care is also a cultivation of spiritual growth. The workshop will include lunch.   The registration fee is $25, with scholarships available. (Contact bbell@thechapelofthecross.org for scholarship assistance.)
