Celebrating Our Choristers with the RSCM Curriculum
Celebrating Our Choristers with the RSCM Curriculum
Here at St. Matthew’s, we are proud to use the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) America curriculum as the foundation for our Junior Choir program. RSCM is a globally respected system that nurtures young singers through a structured approach to vocal training, music theory, and liturgical education. It encourages excellence in both musical skill and spiritual formation, helping choristers grow as confident leaders in worship.
On Sunday, May 11, during the 10:30am service, we will joyfully recognize several of our choristers who have completed their RSCM exams. These young singers will be awarded new ribbons, each color signifying the level they have achieved within the program. It is a meaningful milestone that honors their hard work, dedication, and continued growth in the ministry of music.
We hope you will join us in celebrating these talented young musicians as they continue their journey in faith and song.
Warmly,
Dr. Jason A. Wright, DMA
Director of Music
