You are the Church!

And so the life of the Church continues.  And you are the Church, the lifeblood of St. Matthew’s, that thread over time that carries on the work God has given you to do.  Your generosity of spirit, your welcome, your thoughtfulness, your faithfulness, your care and compassion, your wit and wisdom- these qualities “belong” to you and in the days and weeks and months ahead, you’ll continue to embody these beautiful gifts of the Spirit. Hold fast to that because it is your great gift.

Right now there are a variety of different ways to get involved in the church especially around worship.  There are several trainings coming up:  August 2- Altar Guild Brunch and commissioning; August 3- reader (lector) training; August 10- Eucharistic Minister training; August 17 usher training; and August 31- Acolyte training.   All but the altar guild and acolyte training will be held in the church at 9:00 am.  If you would like to be a part of any of these ministries, please send Lisa+ or Sonja an email.
