Thanksgiving Eucharist - Wed Nov 22, Noon

This year we are offering a Thanksgiving Eucharist on Wednesday, at noon, with music and a homily!

The Eucharist is known as THE GREAT THANKSGIVING in which we give thanks for how God has redeemed us in Jesus and freed us to share in God’s life. On Thanksgiving Day, a secular holiday, we give thanks for the secondary blessings like family and home and security and love (and food!) that make it easier for us to be open to God, and grow in God. We also give thanks for the hardships that have forced us to push deeper into the meaning of life and our need for God.

Jesus is our FEAST, and this whole life, blessings and hardships, is used by God to draw us into that ultimate celebration.
