FeST ReQuests:Recycle, Reuse, Reduce!

This is the annual request for recycling of pint and ½ pint canning jars. Please include the lid rings, if you have them. Please leave the jars on the counter closest to the kitchen in the Fellowship Hall or in the basket outside the church office. The jars will be sterilized and refilled with pickles to be sold at Fest, which will be held Saturday, Dec 5. 

Each year St. Matthew's celebrates the Festival of the Society Tree (FeST), so named after the Ladies Sewing Society who in 1867 used what was then a novelty, the Christmas tree, as a way to sell their wonderful handiwork. There will be baked and canned goods, crafts, wreaths & garlands for sale, and the Ordinary will be back again in 2026!

All proceeds from FeST go to help people in need in Orange County through donations to local non-profit organizations. Support this year's event: help organize, put up some extra jam or pickles, start working on that holiday craft, and, as always, come and shop on December 5th! If you have any questions, contact Eileen Camp.
