Pecan Sales Return

Good news!  Delicious pecans and beautiful note cards are for sale to benefit the Alamance Orange Prison Ministry* (AOPM).  See below for an order form that can be printed out and mailed in to order for yummy pecans that will arrive in time for holiday baking and make great gifts.  The art work on the note cards was created by residents of Orange Correctional Center in Hillsborough.  They also make good gifts and are ideal for correspondence.

The pecans are $16/ pound. Cases of 24 bags can be purchased for $364 and will be delivered. Cards are $20/ pack of six cards.

Orders are due by Monday, November 2nd. Pecan pick up will be on Saturday, November 21st, 9am to 12noon at the Hillsborough United Methodist Church, 130 W. Tryon St. (parking lot off of Wake St.)

AOPM supports a full-time chaplain at the prison and classes for the men incarcerated there.  Dewey Williams, the chaplain, coordinates worship services, special holiday meals for Jewish and Muslim inmates, and birthday parties, as well as ongoing spiritual guidance.
