LGBTQIA+ Ministry Walks with Fellow Parishes in Durham Pride Parade

Durham Pride Parade!

Saturday, October 3, 2026, members of St. Matthew’s LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and ally, plus any other iteration of identity) ministry shared fellowship with parishioners from Beloved Community at the Trees, St Joseph’s, and St. Phillip’s, walking in the Durham Pride parade as a cohesive Episcopalian presence to celebrate the diversity of God’s creation, and to affirm our welcoming and affirming presence in the community. Walkers handed out the Diocesan sponsored zine, Marvelously Made, to folks along the parade route.
