“Let the Children Come” Listening Sessions

Sunday, June 14th at 9am

We will have two different areas for our sessions:

1) Children and youth- Are invited to participate in the Education Building

2) Adults- Are invited to participate in the Fellowship Hall

Having separate spaces will allow people to have enough time to process answers in their own way. Our children may be drawing, while adults will be writing, and teens may be having conversational answers.

We will provide 3 questions that will shape our time and discussions together. While they aren’t finalized yet, they may be some of the following:

  • When was a time that worship deeply moved you and helped you feel close to God?

    • What values and practices were present in that experience?

    • What gave it life?

  • What helps you feel like you belong in worship?

  • If you could change one thing about worship, what would it be?

  • What cannot change in our shared worship life in order for it to remain meaningful for you?

We look forward to sharing this time with you! If you have any questions, please reach out to Stephany Lazo at formation@stmatthewshillsborough.org
