Important Meeting for Orange Co. Landowners

Join other parishioners and members of Justice United us on Wednesday, June 18, at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall to hear about proposed changes to the Orange County Land Use Plan..

Anyone who lives in or owns property in Orange County has for the past 25 years seen white and green signs marking agricultural districts where farming is protected, lot sizes are big, streams are surrounded by no-building-here buffer zones.   Not as well marked, the areas around municipalities are rural buffer zones with rules for low-density development.  Those rules are about to change, and the new rules will be in effect for the next 25 years.

Cy Stauber of the Orange County Planning Department, and Orange Co.  Commissioner and parishioner Sally Greene will be on hand to explain the proposed changes.   You will want to attend this important meeting.
