Pilgrimage to Stagville

Mark your calendars November 12 for our 2nd pilgrimage, this time to Stagville, one of the largest plantations in North Carolina owned by the Bennehan-Cameron family and enslaving over 900 people. There will be reading and reflection work ahead of time, integral to the experience. We’ll meet at Stagville where the tour begins at 1:30, concluding at 3:00. People should come to site visitors center to check in, and the tour will continue outdoors, including driving down Horton Grove. Tours are $2 per person, $1 for anyone under 12 or over 65. Sign up is required. Email elizabethhays03@gmail.com.
