Commemorating the lives of Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Daniel Morrow Saturday, Feb. 15, 1:00 pm

Please join us as we unveil the historical marker and commemorate the lives of Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Daniel Morrow. These three Black family members were terrorized and lynched in and around Hillsborough in 1869. The unveiling program ceremony will include a presentation by Dr. Sonny Kelly and music by the Jones Grove Baptist Choir. Refreshments will be provided by Weaver St. Market.
