Walking the Labyrinth in Holy Week

This year, during Holy Week, we’ll be offering a labyrinth walk before the Maundy Thursday supper in the fellowship hall. We’ll meet at the labyrinth at 5:00 where there will be three stations set up as a way of “inviting” us to move with our bodies, minds, hearts and spirits in remembrance of Jesus last meal with the disciples. This is followed by a meal in the fellowship hall at 5:30 and Maundy Thursday service of foot washing, eucharist and stripping of the altar at 6:30 in the church.

The labyrinth at St. Matthew’s, located behind the playground on the backside of the “old” education building, is available all the time for anyone to walk. We also have a collective labyrinth walk every third Thursday led by Rev. Kate Wisz at 6:00.
