The Stewardship of History: How the Story Gets Told

November 8 talk at 3:30 in church followed by potluck

St Matthew’s is hosting a discussion on “The Stewardship of History: How the Story Gets Told and Why It Matters” with special guest Mr Lee Bennett from "Mother" Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, moderated by the Rev Lisa Frost-Phillips.

It will be held in the sanctuary on November 8th at 3:30, followed by a potluck dinner. During St Matthew’s  pilgrimage to Charleston, Mr Bennett, archivist of Emanuel, hosted our group on a tour of Emanuel. Not only was our time with him fascinating, educational, and powerful, it cultivated friendship. We are honored that he has agreed to come to HIllsborough and speak at St Matthew's!

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck. It can be left in the fellowship hall before the talk.
