Mawethu+ is Officially our New Rector

Meet Mila, Mewethu+, LisaNoelle, & Lithemba Ncaca

On Monday, July 27, Mawethu+ officially became the new Rector of St. Matthew’s. He will quietly begin the on-boarding process: getting to know the Parish and the Rectory over the first two weeks, and is preparing for his move into the new home (which is scheduled for August 3 & 4). He will attend the services this Sunday to meet parishioners and will preach on August 9.

For the parish, clergy, staff, and our new Rector, the two weeks from July 27 to August 7 will be an intentionally quiet time to allow for this gentle beginning for the Ncaca family.

Clergy, Staff, and Vestry members will meet personally with Mawethu+ as their schedules will allow. It is important that we offer him this soft landing but, in case of a pastoral emergency, please know that he is your priest.
