Saying Farewell to Mrs. Jane!

Mrs. Jane Fischer has worked in our nursery for 9 years, since 2016! During this time, she has provided nurturing, compassionate care for our youngest members. She fills our nursery with a calm energy and helps children feel safe and at ease. She has been an incredible and integral part of our Sunday worship during these 9 years. Her steadfast presence and commitment has helped parents nurture their own spirituality and faith by being able to attend church knowing that their child is well cared for.

She will be retiring at the end of August to fully enjoy time with her grandkids and to retire alongside her husband.

To commemorate her time with us, we will be celebrating her during our Family Service at 10am on August 24th! We will also be collecting funds for a love offering to send her off with. We would so appreciate your contributions! Please make your checks out to St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, with Offering for Jane in the memo by August 17th!
