Ms. Lizzy Takes a Break Sunday Worship in the Education Building, Aug. 5,12,19

St. Matthews alway steps up when needed! We are so thankful to those who have made donations or pledges to the renovation of Ms. LIzzy. At 150 years of age, you require a bit of attention now and then!

Work will begin on Monday, July 27th with the disassembly of the organ and remediation of the church mice remains & mold. All organ parts & components will be thoroughly cleaned and staged in the Sanctuary for any repairs and reassembly.

The remediation work is scheduled to be completed by July 27th. From that point, the work of repairs and reassembly will be conducted and planned to complete by August 21st.

The HVAC work for the Sanctuary has been going on behind the scenes. We still have one unit to replace and the addition of humidification. This work does not affect our worship services.

As this organ renovation occurs, the Sanctuary will not be available for services. Wednesday noon eucharist will begin again August 26th. Please note there will not be services on August 5,12,19. Sunday worship services, both 8:00 and 10:00 am, for August 2nd, 9th, and 16th will be held in the Education Building and resume in the Sanctuary on August 23rd.
