Heaven Practice Pulpit Swap

Sunday, August 10, at the 10 am service

St. Matthew’s is delighted to welcome the Rev. Tony Boss of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church to the pulpit!

Congregations throughout Hillsborough are mixing things up a bit as the clergy swap pulpits, giving us a glimpse of what it might be like “when we all get to heaven.”  While the Rev. Boss preaches at the 10 am service at St. Matthew’s, our own Deacon, the Rev. Kate Wisz, will be  preaching at Piney Grove. Join us to experience a slice of heaven!

And then come out to the community picnic at 1 pm as all participating congregations gather for lunch at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion at 140 E. Margaret Lane in Hillsborough, easy walking distance from the church.
