Habitat Faith Build work days

St. Matthews will again be participating in the Faith in Hillsborough Habitat for Humanity build dates at Weavers Grove in Chapel Hill. The final Spring date is scheduled for Sat. May 9th (8:30a- Noon). To register, follow this link: https://vhub.at/faithinhillsborough

As an alternative, we have a Fairview Community Garden shift available on Saturday June 13. You can register for that shift using this link: Habitat for Humanity of Orange County (NC)

The Riparian Planting shift on Odie Street will take place on Saturday, May 2 from 9:00am–12:00pm. Since this is a landscaping shift, volunteers as young as 14 are able to participate.

During this stream restoration shift, volunteers will help improve the banks along Odie Street by planting native plants, removing invasive species, and assisting with general site cleanup. The shift will begin with a brief introduction to riparian planting.
