Gilding Workshop

Saturday, Jan 24, 9 am to noon

Join Edward Wright who will guide us in gilding the stone Stations of the Cross that were a gift to the parish from the Avila Retreat Center in Durham. The stones will be attached to wooden poles and  installed within  the church cemetery to mark the stations.  The workshop will be held in the Fellowship Hall.

All you will need to bring is your full attention to this spiritual exercise and attire that can be embellished with size, gold leaf, and shellac.  Depending on how many attend and the participants competence, we may have time to also gild a small ornament you can hang on next year’s Christmas tree.
