Exploring Pauli Murray

Please join the Racial Justice & Reconciliation Committee (“RJRC”) as we host an series of events entitled “Exploring Pauli Murray”, an integral and accomplished figure at the center of struggle for civil and human rights in the 20th century with roots in Durham and Orange Counties.

“Pauli Murray Mondays” will take place on the St. Matthew’s Zoom Meeting Channel at 7:00pm on 10/24, 11/7, and 11/14 to discuss Murray’s seminal work, Proud Shoes, and the acclaimed documentary, “My Name is Pauli Murray”.

We are still working on a final event on 11/20 to culminate our study of Pauli Murray. More information about this will be shared soon when we confirm the details.

Several copies of Proud Shoes are available to be signed out from the Graebner Room; the documentary is on Amazon and other streaming platforms.

Please register for these events on the sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall or by emailing Jeff Thompson at thompson.jet@gmail.com.  More information will follow for these events.

We look forward to sharing this together!
